Life Cycles

In Science, we are learning about life cycles. We brainstormed animals from each of the six categories (amphibians, reptiles, insects, birds, fish, and mammals), then, made their life cycle.

Before we could get started, we had to have a design plan. Our job was to know the animal, how we imagined the life cycle, and what materials we needed.

Once, the plan was complete, Miss. Engstrom gave us the materials we needed. The two main materials were: paper plates and different colours of clay.

When the life cycle was complete, we got to draw arrows and explain to Miss.Engstrom what was happening in our cycle. Then, our last job was to draw what our life cycle actually looked like, and how we could improve for the next time.

Here are some pictures to show the awesome concentration and dedication to this project!
