In the past two weeks, Stevenson and George Waters Middle School, have been working on their reading, community building, and friendship skills by working together as reading buddies.
Luckily, George Waters and Stevenson are in walking distance of each other! George Waters grade seven students, EA's, and teachers walk to Stevenson once every school day cycle. Our grade two/three and seven's read to each other for approximately thirty minutes. We love to see the mentorship, patience, and, good reading habits with our students.
