February 1st our school participated in Global School PlayDay. The purpose of the day is to have unstructured play all day. They brought in: board games, dolls, barbies, puzzles, and lego. They used things around the classroom: blocks, math manipulatives (counting bears, counters, dominos), and cards. Students were unable to bring electronics or items with batteries. It was AWESOME to see all the play happening the entire day!
