Room 17 is learning about the community of Winnipeg and Churchill. We had some help from a Literacy Coach, Mrs. A, to help us become better writers!
Mrs. A read us a story on Polar Bears. She discussed non-fiction books, and what is a fact and an opinion. Then, she assisted us through the writing process: brainstorming, writing the first draft, revising (spicing it up - JUICY words), editing, and publishing our final copies!
Room 17 thanks Mrs. A for all her wonderful work in our classroom. We are proud of our writing!
